FSi to design the air flow systems for the 787 Paint Hangar

04/28/2006

FSi has a long history of large scale ventilation projects, starting with a new paint hangar at Boeing field in 1990. Our experience and our long term relationship with The Boeing Company were instrumental in being awarded this contract. As a teammate of The Harris Group, FSi is providing the heating and ventilation design for the $50 million renovation of the 45-03 building at the Boeing Everett plant. The hangar was originally designed for 747’s and the renovation will update the air flow systems to current technology along with arranging the hangar to accommodate both 777s and the new 787.
