Doepker Industries Paint Bay Evaluation

FSi evaluated the existing operating conditions at this facility with the goal of improving the airflow and capture of paint overspray.

Doepker Industries manufactures truck trailers for transporting bulk grain, and the facility includes two bays for painting of the trailers. Our evaluation included comparison to similar industrial ventilation applications and review of applicable codes to develop options for bringing the painting operation up to the industry standard for capture of paint overspray. Our focus was on cost effective methods to provide increased air quantities with a proper velocity profile. Recommendations also included changes to the type of spray equipment used and lighting upgrades.
